About

Med Revue is the oldest comedy show at UNSW, having staged its first show in 1975, coincidently the same year in which the famous sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live first premiered! In other words, it's rather old and undeniably retro.

The show incorporates live sketch comedy with hot DANCE numbers, SONGS, funny VIDEOS and other forms of hilarity! Med Revue prides itself in being the first and longest running comedy show at UNSW, inspiring other revues like Law Revue and CSE Revue.

Originally a show incorporating only med students, Med Revue was performed in what was known as the Physics Theatrette, which does not exist today. In 1992, the show moved to the much bigger venue of the Science Theatre, an 826 seat theatre equipped with 100 lights and a 40 channel audio mixer, turning the show into a more professional and exciting large-scale production.

Today, the show includes students from an array of faculties, including Arts, Law, Science, Engineering and of course, the Faculty of Medicine. Every year, a significant portion of Med Revue's proceeds are donated to a charity.
